a good thing coming

I shine.  when I have 
compassion for my 
self.  I forgive.  
the parts of me I regret. 
I shine.  when I leave those 
second thoughts and 
self-condolences to 
gently decompose.  I flex.  
in the strength that I can find.  
I ask.  to listen to my senses.  
to recognize.  the good in 
what is not exactly known.  
to see.  when it comes to me.  
no matter what its form.  
may I recognize its shape 
so I will know. 
what.  to hold on to.
